The first privately developed in-orbit booster

For the SpaceX project, which is entirely privately funded, yesterday was a significant day. The fourth, victorious, launch attempt was successful and at 19:15 EDT a rocket soared into the sky from a site on the Marshall Islands.

What's next? SpaceX plans to finish the design of its rocket, having honed some engineering moments. Then the planned launch of a 20 meter rocket with 600 kilograms of cargo on board. And next summer, the company hopes for the success of the Falcon 9 - an older model designed to deliver cargo to the ISS. Perhaps in the future, SpaceX will not mind competing with Richard Brensen in space tourism.
