Because Google Chrome can save shortcuts to applications and run them without browser bindings, I decided to make a small calculator app for myself. It looks like this:
The application itself is an html file that can be downloaded from here: ai-studio.com/chromecalc/chrome_calc.zip , put it in any folder, open the chrome_calc.html file in Google Chrome and select "Create application shortcuts":
After to set the window to a convenient size and position on the screen - Chrome will remember the window size when it restarts.
In the dialog for creating an application shortcut, the name and a brief description of the application are displayed. You can specify them, as well as links to the icons that will be used to create the desktop version of the icon, like this: I hope this is useful to developers of sites and similar applications.
