Vixta: Vista Look and Feel for Linux

Linux Vixta
Vixta  is a Linux distribution with probably the smallest target audience: for Linux users who are impressed with Windows Vista and want their desktop to look the same.

Vixta is based on Fedora with custom KDE. Together with widgets, the a la Vista main menu and taskbar, you get evil looks from your more dedicated open source colleagues. However, inside it is still Linux, not Windows. If you are a Linuxoid, it will probably be convenient, but Windows users will hardly convince them to switch to Linux.
Windows applications, as usual, run under WINE, and programs are delivered from the usual composition of Linux, although the main menu is similar to Windows. That means Konqueror instead of Explorer, OpenOffice instead of just Office, and Firefox instead of ... Firefox. OK, it may not be so hard to change the OS, but explain it to your grandmother ...
