Starting with this post, I want to open a new “heading”, not even a heading, but a tradition - to write small reviews on those WAP sites that I found on the network. I want to immediately make a reservation that the so-called standard WAP sites will not fall into the review. What do I mean by a “standard WAP site” - sites to the top filled with free, often pirated content. You can watch examples of such sites if you look at the TOP50 of a counter, for example WapLog.
First, this review includes the recently created WAP version of one of the most popular dating sites Loveplanet - wap.loveplanet.ru
The WAP version of the site, in terms of functionality, is almost identical to its "older" brother - the WEB version. You can register, which is not unimportant, often WAP versions of sites offer full functionality only to registered users, and registration must be done using the WEB version of the portal. In this case, the opposite is true.
Unlike the WAP version of the Odnoklassniki website, which has so much functionality and wretched that you don’t even want to talk about it, Loveplanet’s functionality and implementation pleases: go to the site under your usual login, change information in your profile, search and view profiles other users, read and send messages, comment on photos, participate in Top-100 polls.
But one function is simply wonderful, and its presence distinguishes this site from all competitors - adding photos directly from the memory of a mobile phone, which you will agree, is a very, very useful function for such sites. Only, unfortunately, not everyone can use this function, but only owners of phones with MIDP 2.0.
It would be great if this function were implemented in a slightly different way, or rather, the list of means by which you can publish photos from a mobile phone was supplemented by sending MMS messages.
And of course, work with paid site services is simplified to the maximum. To become a “Site Leader”, raise your profile in the rating or replenish your wallet, just follow the special link on the wap-site, and an SMS message to transfer funds will be created automatically. I don’t know about the possibility of using “paid links” (CPC Content Per Click), I think that over time they will create such an opportunity.
And what is my verdict? What grade would I give this resource?
