Ukrainian political strategists draw ideas from the Internet
Anyone who was even a little interested in events on the network could watch the extremely famous video “Free hugs” . The generator of this idea, Juan Mann, really conquered the world with a small sign that says "Free hugs." The heat was added by Sick Puppies, who shared a song with Juan specifically for this video. I admit honestly, he really impressed me and inspires me so far. I really like to review it.
Apparently the glory of the video went far beyond the network, otherwise how can I explain what I saw in the news today.
As part of the election campaign for the mayor of Kiev, one of the parties that submitted its candidate for this post, held a campaign that seemed surprisingly familiar to me.
Representatives of this party took to the street with posters on which the word "Obіimi" was written ("Hugs" or "hug"). True, on the other hand, there was a certain copyright in the form of the original “Free hugs”. But that is not all! Music! The music was the same, only the text was changed to sugary-patriotic. The author of the idea of the video claims that he did not know anything about the celebrity of the original and the idea came to his mind after he saw one of such actions in New York. But how can one explain such a coincidence in music, especially since the author of the “alteration” claims that the rights to use music were officially purchased.
By the way, the video itself can be viewed here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSd6REWW0n0
Well, if one of the most powerful political parties in Ukraine uses Internet content for its own purposes, then you can probably draw another conclusion about how much the network has a great impact on modern society.
