How one application to the contract nerves and time saves

Recently, I wrote that the contract of our studio prescribes a list of persons authorized to communicate with the studio on behalf of the customer, solve work issues, give directions and accept the stages of the project.

I was asked here : "How do you prevent the persons specified in the contract from presenting the opinion of the manager and chief engineer as your own." We do not bother them. But the agreement nonetheless helps us a lot. I will explain how.

The fact is that one of the main motives of such people is self-affirmation. Some want to show off in front of the boss, showing, "how they can take off these designers." Some want to steer the process. There are all sorts of intracorporate intrigues.

The reference to the contract allows us not to waste our nerves, energy and time on deputies who want to assert themselves, on the tantrums of the chief accountants who were not “asked”. Please let them coordinate all this with each other, spend their time and nerves, and then we will discuss everything on points with an adequate authorized person.

But, as practice shows, all these wonderful, courageous, "versed in design, politics and football" citizens, losing the opportunity to steer designers or pat their nerves, quickly lose all interest in the project.
