Broadband Network Access - On The Bus

    The company Nomad Digital has started construction of a network of wireless broadband Internet access to passengers of public transportra Stockholm (Sweden).

    Part of the pilot project will be access via WiMAX technology on buses traveling along the Stockholm-Nortalle route. Along the route, several WiMAX base stations will be located, in combination with which 3G equipment from two independent operators will also be used. The buses will have Wi-Fi hot spots installed, thanks to which passengers will be able to access the Network.

    Nomad Digital has offices in Europe and North America, as well as in Asia. Among the company's earlier projects, wireless broadband access was provided for train passengers traveling from London to Brighton (Brighton Express), as well as from London to Heathrow Airport (Heathrow Express).
