Sun is working on Java for iPhone

Sun Microsystems is known for many things, but best known for Java technology . The main idea of Java is that a programmer can write a program and it can work on any PC or device where there is a virtual machine (Java Virtual Machine, JVM).
But in reality, everything is not so smooth. On different platforms, code refinement is often required, and the main thing that infuriates most is its own library of controls (elements) of the user interface. This is especially felt on Macs.
Now Sun wants all this fun on the iPhone. In general, after the announcement of the SDK, Sun began to sort out the issue of writing Java VM for iPhone. After some “understanding of the topic”, they are sure that there is an option to make Java ME (this is the version of Java VM that is built into mobile phones and communicators) and they want to implement it. Surely this will please Java programmers.
It will be very cool if Opera Mini will be launched. For there will be compression of traffic, pictures, etc.

Update : Not one OperaMini is alive Java. For example, all sorts of enterprise applications for which web-ajax is not enough, and buying an “ticket” from Apple enterprise is expensive.
After all, will you not distribute the client to your CIS (corporate information system) through the AppStore? And not the fact that firmware 2.0 is hacked.
IMHO, let Java be better. One head it's good, but two better :)
