Widgets, comics and active desktop
Faced a small problem. On a large, stationary computer, I had Active Desktop, which showed me a specially written page that once every hour gave a random comic from Comicstrip. With the advent of the laptop, for some reason, the page flies left and somehow somehow is not fixed in width and height.
I spat on everything, put Yahoo Widgets and wrote my widget, which would show me a comic strip. This widget did not want to work stably (the comic loaded but did not update by timeout), nibbled manuals and forums - the error was not mine, but it didn’t make me any easier.
Attention, a question. Are there any programs such as widgets that allow you to show web pages without hemorrhoids (or simply have the functionality of sucking some content into yourself) and are able to do refresh? Windows Sidebar does not offer - too small. And I’ll share a script with you on the Pars comics =)
