OJSC Rostelecom, the national long-distance telecommunications operator , has launched the OpenOffice.org Professional office suite .
“The introduction of free software throughout the company can significantly optimize financial costs,” said Andrey Baklykov, director of the IT department. “Specialists prepared a special version of the OpenOffice.org Professional package, which takes into account the peculiarities of working with office applications in the IT infrastructure of Rostelecom.”
