About remotes ...

Now once again I lost the remote control from the TV, and a thought has ripened. I wish the remote controls had a small, inconspicuous, but loud speaker ("tweeter") on the remote control and a button to turn off this speaker, and on the TV there was an activation button for this speaker. Lost the remote - pressed the button on the TV - looking for the remote by sound - turned off the speaker on the remote, which is much easier. At the same time, the following minus is obvious - increased power consumption, because there is an energy consumption for receiving a signal from the TV to activate the speaker, and for the speaker itself, because the current remotes work via infrared, which is not very voracious in terms of energy costs. Exit - let there be a battery in the remote control, and in the TV the base for the remote control for recharging it in free time from control. But to realize all this, it is necessary to modify both the remote control itself and the TV.

    1. A certain "nozzle" on the remote control, which includes a speaker, a button to turn it off, a module for communication with the base and a battery.
    2. Actually a "base" in which you can put a "nozzle" for recharging, and on which there is a button to turn on the speaker.
The minus of the solution is the need to remove the “nozzle” from the remote control to recharge on the base.

Both in the first and in the second case, a slight increase in the size of the remote control is possible.
Such a system is applicable not only to a TV, but also to other devices that are conveniently controlled using a remote control.
One way or another, I would love to use such a feature, otherwise the remote control, the infection, is often lost.
