Microsoft collaborates with Digg
Company Microsoft has signed with Digg three-year agreement under which the software giant has become the exclusive provider of the content on a news site.
In addition, the software giant will work with Digg to develop new advertising campaigns using site technologies. Microsoft will also work with Federated Media Publishing (the current advertising partner for the news site) to create new programs for site visitors and advertisers.
Now Digg has more than 17 million unique users per month, which is good news for Microsoft, which is trying to increase revenue from online advertising. Judging by Kevin Rose on a news site blog, Digg this deal is also quite satisfactory.
