We save on the search box.
Why do we need two windows for entering text in the Fox? Wouldn't it be convenient to use one in which to enter both the address and the search?
So, here is our Fox: Let's

open the configuration by entering “about: config” in the address box and filter by the string “keyword.URL”:

Double-click on the line and change its value to “ google.com/search?q=” :

Now for search, you can simply enter a search term into the address line

and get the result by pressing the button "enter":

Let's remove this atavism on the right side of the screen by right-clicking on the panel, selecting “customize” and dragging the search box into the window that opens:

Now, by the way, the remaining elements will fit perfectly in the menu bar:

Important! If three points:
- You cannot start a search with "site:" or any other similar prefix, because Fox will think that it is a protocol (like "ftp:", "http:" and others). For the solution, prefix operators should not be placed at the beginning of the search.
- A single-word search slows down a little, because at first the Fox tries to find such a domain. This is solved by a quick search .
- You cannot choose where to look. This is also solved by a quick search .
