Stream - transition to new tariff plans

Yesterday, when I saw the news about the new stream tariffs, I immediately chose Mainstream - 4 MB / s against the current two with a price difference of only $ 2.

Prior to this, I switched to a tariff plan with greater speed, but the same subscriber. payment, it was in January, the transition was carried out the next day, everything went smoothly. Now they also promised to switch me to the next day, but it was said that the individual date of cancellation of the subscriber. fees - the 11th day of each month. I did not attach much attention to this.

On the account I had a balance of about 300 r, or $ 11. I figured that the difference of $ 2 would be removed from this balance.

However, after midnight, the connection was lost. Everything looked logical, transferred to a new tariff. However, usually automatic reconnection does not cause problems. Having restarted the service with my own hands, I never made my way to the network - the mail did not work, the weather did not appear. Only when I climbed into the browser did I see a cute inscription - "Your access to the network is blocked."

The first reaction was a call to support. Although I knew about the futility of this venture, but I wanted a lively human communication. As it should be with the stream, for fifteen minutes I listened to the answering machine saying that my call is very important and they will answer me. It doesn’t matter that the time is half past one in the morning, I never received an answer.

Then the emotions subsided, and I realized that you can enter your personal account. The balance in my account was ... -10 rubles, or - $ 0.4. Hm.

And only when I studied operations on my personal account, everything became completely clear. I was credited to the account “unspent” the monthly fee for May (it was about $ 20 out of the paid $ 30), and then they wrote off the subscription. fees for the new tariff, those same $ 32. It is funny that the balance in the personal account in the amount of the remaining payment for May was not enough for literally 10 rubles. This is the payment for the month, the countdown of which began today, and the next time the money should be written off only on June 11, as warned.

I was surprised only because I hadn’t switched to higher tariffs before. Maybe someone will find this experience useful.
