Windows Live Hotmail Releases Beta

Company Microsoft finally has completely redesigned its popular email service today and must be transferred from beta to final release.

According to sources familiar with the company's plans, Microsoft, without attracting general attention, was testing a new version of the service in small countries to check stability. Today, Hotmail is expected to exit the testing phase worldwide and become accessible to more than 250 million people.

Microsoft, testing the service, since August 2005 rewrote it from scratch. In November 2005, Microsoft renamed the service to Windows Live. For recognition (and dissatisfaction among some users), in February 2006 the mail service was renamed to Windows Live Hotmail.

Microsoft has focused on improving the speed and efficiency of its email service. Windows Live Hotmail offers users 2 GB of space for correspondence, and also allows you to import and export contacts to other mail services, such as Gmail and Yahoo Mail. It is also possible to get twice as much available space and other advanced features for $ 19.99 per year.

The company has also improved its user interface and improved sorting and searching for contacts and messages.
