25 years of creation of Sir Clive Sinclair - ZX Spectrum

Yesterday, April 23, marks 25 years since the release in 1982 of the beloved computer of millions - ZX Spectrum.

Being an improved version of its predecessor - the black and white ZX-81 - the new ZX Spectrum provided users with gorgeous 8 colors in the resolution of 256x192, a fast processor at 3.5 MHz and, importantly, an excellent redesigned keyboard.
This computer has grown a whole generation of enthusiastic IT people, and in a lot of options has come to the territory of the entire ex-USSR, having received development inconceivable for its creator - here he called himself mice, drives, five times the amount of memory, became a full member of more than one Demo Party and the favorite of millions.

And even today you can remember what we played on it and how it looked - just go to one of the manySpectrum software archives and emulators .

But, unfortunately for Sir Sinclair, his creation remained unsurpassed - no further development of Clive could repeat the success of this model, although he tried to bring his innovations to personal transport, radio and poker.
