Fujitsu-Siemens solves problems with the monitor - Amilo Graphic Booster

    image
There are not many laptops that can provide normal operation of more than one external monitor, but Fujitsu-Siemens has come up quite elegantly to solve this problem and released Amilo Graphic Booster. This small box, in fact, is an external graphics accelerator based on ATI Radeon HD 3870/512 MB of RAM. By connecting it to a laptop with a simple PCI-E cable, any user can “power up” up to three external monitors and use the device as a simple USB hub for 2 ports, where you can connect a keyboard and mouse.

The gadget will undoubtedly come in handy for people who work professionally with graphics on multiple monitors, but carry a laptop with them. Amilo has its own power cable, so it is most convenient to use. Not only in theory - in practice, everything looks no less impressive.

Unfortunately, there is an opinion that to use the device you need to own a laptop from Fujitsu-Siemens, but before it arrives on the market there is no way to verify the truth of this statement.

The concept is beautiful, Amilo Graphic Booster is also pretty, it remains to wait a bit and find out if we are thinking the same about the price.
