After a difficult day, you come home, first of all, as always, turn on your PC, go online. What do we have with education? Download the page with your success. So it is, 150%. The future is bright.

Engrade is a free online application designed to help the teacher manage a group of students, publish grades, assignments, a log of class occurrences, homework deadlines with the ability to track statistics by students and their parents. Today, Engrade is used by 60,000 people. Here you can read more about Engrade features.

    Contents of the resource:
Online Gradebook- An online scorecard with the ability to automatically calculate grades, with different grading scales, taking into account the difficulty of the assignments.
Online Attendance Book - an online attendance sheet with the ability to automatically send parents an e-mail on Fridays when students fail to appear.
Online Homework Calendar is an online calendar for publishing homework and course assignments for parents and students to monitor.
Online Student Reports - real-time access to reports on grades, visits, assignments.
Improving Engrade is financed by some "sponsors from education", the resource is completely free to use (we cut adblock on the main page).

Work with the resource is simple and convenient.
After registration, it is proposed to set up the workspace, set:
Information about the group of students:

    Grade scale:

For example, I chose the first option for accounting for ABC grades (10% range).

Job Category We choose whether the category of the task will be taken into account when calculating the estimates.
If we want the task category to be taken into account, mark “Yes” and fill out the list of categories (for example: Rating, Homework, Coursework), while recording the weight of each category in percent.

Students list. We create a list of students (First name, Surname, identification number). At the same time, the identification number is a secret (!) Number unique to each student, with which students can check their grades.

Report Settings. We adjust the ability to display student grades in student reports and the grouping method.

After setting up the application, we remember the created group of students by pressing the corresponding button.
Before us opens the main interface of the application. Available sections:

Next, we are invited to create a new event (we set three: rating, homework, term paper) by clicking on the “New Assignment” button. We are talking about a past event, the assessment of which we need to keep.
We set the name of the event, select the category, the day of the event and the rating limit.

We fill out the list of grades received (in percent), while for students absent for a valid reason, write “e”, absent for a disrespectful “m”:

    Save the results.
After entering the data, we can generate a report for the group:

Now in our journal there is information on the results of the rating.

The screenshot shows that Engrave has not yet learned to perceive the Cyrillic alphabet. This means that, where possible, you should use either transliteration or translation into English. When exporting a list of students to Excel (there is such an opportunity), the names and surnames of students are also displayed incorrectly.
It is possible to control the work of the university administration, for which representatives of the dean’s office need to create a special administrator account.
Work with the resource on the part of the student is also simple and convenient. We register, we get a report:

We draw conclusions about knowledge and say more thanks to the creators for the opportunity.

    Disadvantages:

In conclusion, it is worth saying that as a tool for working with students, Engrave seemed to me rather convenient. The case is small:

    Can we handle it?
PS Owners of monitors with different resolutions, please tell me, do you correctly display pictures, not small ones? Thanks.
