Google will stop indexing search results
Additions have been made to the Google’s webmaster guide regarding indexing internal search results on sites and similar automatically generated pages.
Now, if the site has a search form, it is recommended to close the search results from indexing using robots.txt, since such pages do not carry a semantic load.
- In my opinion, a very right decision - such results only clog the issue. Still, Yandex would take an example from them, otherwise it would sin with such garbage output from search results or, worse, automatically generated meaningless pages.
