IPod killer

Did I doubt which kind of mp3 player to choose? Not. Yes, what am I - a good half of the owners of the players did not doubt for a second in choosing the Apple iPod. He is so impeccable, beautiful and functional, in a word, a dream in a snow-white building. And it doesn’t matter that in a couple of months he will need iDrops and several more ill-conceived things will appear - this doesn’t bother anyone when buying, and you don’t have to regret it afterwards.

Microsoft Zune, the intended appearance of the

upcoming player from our beloved companyMicrosoft, MS Zune, does not look like a dream at all (outwardly it will be at least similar to the one you see above). And the color of the case "almost snow-white, if not compared with really white," as from the advertising powder, and the primitive panel - no longer seem so cult. The only thing that attracts the new player is the truly gigantic screen, which is perhaps two or three times the size of the iPod display.

As far as we know , Zune will differ from its competitor in that music and video can be received wirelessly via Wi-Fi . That is, from the usual chain “Internet - computer - player” the computer will be excluded altogether (although it is not clear yet how the player will be recharged).

The price of this device on average does not exceed $ 399, that is, slightly more expensive than the Apple player. And the processor with a clock frequency of 400 MHz and a capacity of 60 gigabytes will be built into the Zune case. And in addition, the player will support the Urge server, a response from Microsoft and MTV to the iTunes music store. Well, and as is the case with the iPod, the developers of the new player will leave one of the main disadvantages - incompatibility with other Windows Media services. This is done so that music for Zune is bought in an online store, and not downloaded through a computer.

No official information about the new player from Microsoft has yet to appear. Just the other day a strange site ComingZune.com, where an unshaven man strokes a rabbit, and some teenager slowly approaches him. When the video ends, visitors are invited to enter their email address so that the Zune developers have the opportunity to keep them informed of events, and the address of a friend who will receive a link to this amazing cartoon. After sending my address, I received a letter asking me to install this picture on my desktop and wait for the news.

I did not change my dextop, but I look forward to the news. Although, in my opinion, shaking the position of the iPod in the mp3 player market will be very difficult, even for a giant like Microsoft.
