Gizmodo editor urges not to buy gadgets

Joel Johnson (Joel Johnson), the editor of the site Gizmodo "retired", published a material in which he urged everyone to abandon the purchase and use of gadgets.

“They want me to write a weekly column, but I hate electronics, I hate marketing and I hate all people because they are dumb,” Johnson writes. In the article, he drove around PR managers massively sending out idiotic press releases, and also tried to persuade readers "not to buy all this shit."

The cry of the soul of a journalist, for several years just writing about gadgets, did not leave Gizmodo visitors indifferent - there were a fair amount of commentators condemning and supporting Johnson. Although, of course, it is possible that it was just one of the methods once again to draw attention to the resource.
