Yahoo! Pipes made a large database from the Internet

The Read / Write Web resource published an interesting study , the author of which is confident that the new Yahoo! Pipes, an RSS aggregator that allows you to create personalized feeds, turns the Internet into one large database.

We, current Internet users, Alex Iskold believes, have witnessed a striking phenomenon - the "mixing" of the Internet. The “crystals” that make up the World Wide Web — blogs, photos, videos, maps, RSS feeds, and simple HTML pages — can all be found and mixed.

Yahoo! Pipes will become the new “GUI builder” (that is, a visual assistant) to create a new database, which the Internet itself will become. By combining many different sources of information in a single stream, users can make the most ingenious queries (read - selections from the database) and manipulate them.

Further development of Yahoo! Pipes Alex Iskold sees in a more thorough data structuring and improvement of the user interface.
