FeedBurner, an RSS feed management service, is planning to introduce a statistics collection system not only for RSS, but also for sites in general in the near future. Thanks to the use of technology from the Blogbeat service acquired by the company in the summer of 2006 , users will be able to view the statistics of visits to their blogs: the number of visitors, incoming and outgoing links, geography of traffic, etc.
At the moment, closed testing of new features of the service is being conducted. FeedBurner users will be able to see these features in action at the beginning of 2007.
