No Chinese Anonymous Bloggers

The China Internet Society, an organization funded by the PRC Ministry of Information Policy, recommended that authorities adopt a special law requiring bloggers to use real names when registering blogs.

The organization recommends that you prohibit the use of pseudonyms (nicknames) when registering a blog. At the same time, writing posts will be allowed under a pseudonym.

“The adoption of this standard is vital for the Chinese Internet, as it will significantly help in the development of the blogosphere,” said Xinhua State News Agencywith reference to the head of the Internet Society. “We asked the ministry to accept the“ real name system ”as an Internet standard. Anonymous bloggers posting false information are harmful to society. ”
