Google hired a regional consultant in Ukraine. The post was taken by Dmitry Sholomko, formerly the managing partner of the consulting company UBL, Kommersant Ukraine reports .
Mr. Sholomko confirmed to the newspaper that he had been representing the interests of the Internet giant in the country since September, but declined to comment further, citing restrictions imposed by the employer.
Experts believe that the responsibility of the regional manager of Google is to inform the head office about the state of the local market. In addition, it was said that the consultant can make recommendations on adjusting Google services and adapting them to the local industry.
