E-voting complexes will have two types of media

As the head of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation Alexander Veshnyakov said on Thursday in RIA Novosti in Veliky Novgorod, information with the election results will be stored in the CEG not only on electronic media, but also on paper. “It will be like a black box on an airplane,” said the head of the CEC. “If there is any doubt about the operation of the complexes, any of the election observers will be able to get the results of the voting in printed form and compare them with electronic ones.”

Saving information on two types of media, Veshnyakov believes, will exclude the possibility of fraud in the election results and, in particular, eliminate the risk of any kind of reprogramming of the CEG.
