RBC and Vedomosti did not meet again in court

The consideration of RBC’s lawsuit against Business News Media, the publisher of Vedomosti , was postponed by the Moscow Arbitration Court until August 22, RIA Novosti reported . A deferral was caused by the petition of the defendant’s lawyers - time is needed for the nomination of arbitration assessors.

On Tuesday, the court also granted Vedomosti’s petition for a third party to bring RBC Center, the administrator of the RBC website.

Mikhail Dubik, CEO of Business News Media, believes that RBC’s lawsuit is to divert public attention from the lawsuit of his publishing house: “Their goal is to make such a“ mirror ”lawsuit and give the audience the impression that this lawsuit is equal to the lawsuit of Vedomosti "Against them."
