The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs calls to deprive terrorists of access to the Internet

    Russian Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev said the G-8 law enforcement agencies should coordinate efforts to deprive terrorists of access to Network resources, Interfax reports .

    “It is no secret that today the terrorist network is increasingly being used by the terrorists as an information center, which contains detailed instructions on conspiracy, the creation of explosive devices, weapons and methods of their use,” Nurgaliyev said in an interview to be published in Rossiyskaya Gazeta in friday.

    “Here (on the Internet) there is a search and recruitment of new supporters of terrorism, their briefing, propaganda, distribution of video reports on crimes committed. And therefore, the response of the member countries of the Group of Eight “must be decisive, large-scale and coordinated,” the minister said.
