Gran Paradiso goes to start
The first alpha version of Firefox 3.0 (codename Gran Paradiso) was born . Its interface is no different from the second version, and the user will not see new functions. The main goal of the first alpha is to test the new version of the engine on which the browser is running, Gecko 1.9. However, the new version no longer supports OS such as Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME and OS X 10.2.
The developers say that there will be several alpha versions and plan to release them every 6-8 weeks. Based on these data, we can say that the final version of Firefox 3.0 will appear later than planned (March 2007).
