
Google has sent out a virus to 50,000 users
Google accidentally sent out 50,000 Google Video Blog users with the Nyxem malware, also known as MyWife, Kama-Sutra, or Blackmal. The official announcement was posted by the Google Video Team.
According to a Google notification, on the evening of November 7, three dangerous messages containing the Kama-Sutra virus were posted on Google Video. In addition, the worm was emailed to Google Video Blog subscribers. For users who believe that a virus could have reached their computers, Google is strongly advised to check their hard drives with antivirus software. Those who do not have antivirus software installed are encouraged to download the Norton AntiVirus package.
Google apologizes for the inconvenience and promises to take the necessary measures to avoid a recurrence of an unpleasant situation in the future. Currently, all malicious publications from the Google Video website have been removed.
