At the end of the month, Adobe will remove links to download Flash from your site.

Adobe continues to “bury” its own product, which for many years has not met the security requirements and a number of other indicators - Adobe Flash Player. After numerous news about the termination of Flash support and work on it, Adobe decided to take the main step - to remove links to download Flash from its official website.

The main stage of abandoning Flash Player by the company itself began several years ago, but the main point was the call from Adobe to developers to abandon their product.

While new standards, such as HTML5, are the future of web platforms on all devices, Flash continues to be used in key areas such as web games and video, where new standards have yet to evolve fully and reach maturity. Moving forward, Adobe is committed to working with industry partners, such as Google and Microsoft, to help ensure continued compatibility and security of Flash content.

On its own website, the company posted a warning that the ability to download both old and recent versions of Flash for licensed distribution will no longer be on September 29:

For ordinary users, the ability to download Adobe Flash Player will remain.

Although Flash Player for many years now looks more like a sieve than a software product, the question of its successor remains open. Yes, the new HTML5 standard has been evolving for many years and in terms of information security and cross-platform has already overtaken Flash Player, the question of the stability of its work in some cases remains open.

Back in November 2015, Adobe assured that even if they curtail work on Flash, the company's product will be available to everyone without any restrictions.
