GoPro recalls Karma quadcopters

    GoPro recalls 2500 sold Karma quadcopters due to unreasonable loss of power during operation and then disconnected from some copies. "A small number of Karma owners have reported cases of shutdown of the device during operation," said GoPro CEO Nick Woodman.

    The manufacturer has not received any counter-offers for replacing the corrected quadrocopters or analogues, including because Karma is the first of its kind GoPro company. Quadcopter deliveries will be resumed only after “elimination of all defects”.

    “We work closely with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission and the Federal Aviation Administration,” Woodman said. "We are very sorry that our customers are in such a situation and we are taking steps to make the return of the device as easy as possible."
