RTOS Neutrino in industrial computers
About a month ago, a seminar from the company SVD Embedded Systems and SVD Software was held, which has already become traditional. At the seminar, industry representatives spoke about the development trends of protected RTOSs of the KPDA family (Neutrino, Neutrino-E, QNX) and tools for building automated systems based on ZOSRV and others. The workshop consisted of three sections. In total, about 180 people visited him. More details about what the Neutrino RTOS is available on the developer's website and on Wikipedia .
In addition to the seminar, a small demo zone was organized, where companies in one way or another contacting with the RTOS of the KPDA family demonstrated their solutions. In one place, components (processors) and equipment were assembled, which were presented mainly by Russian manufacturers of computer technology. Some of this has already been covered many times either through press releases or on various information portals, but there was also something new.
A lot of photos!
As can be seen from the description on the sitedeveloper, the ZOSRV KPDA family supports all major processor architectures on which industrial equipment is produced in Russia. According to my subjective feelings, the largest number of complete commercial solutions that are available to consumers were on x86 and Elbrus architecture, although there were MIPS, ARM, RISC, and SPARCv8.
On x86, the Fastwel development kit was introduced, which runs under the control of the Neurino CLROS, and consists of the COM Express Type 10 processor module CPC1311 on the Intel Atom platform and the KIB1400 carrier board.

Company RTSoft introduced fanless industrial computer BLOKbased on solutions from its technology partner Kontron. In addition, there was an interesting “box” KBoxA-203 , designed to collect data from sensors and actuators in real time and for preprocessing before transferring data to the “cloud”, as well as many COM modules from Kontron.

Equipment based on Elbrus processors was presented both by products from the processor developer and by independent companies.
Institute named after I.S. Brook demonstrated the operation of protected industrial computers PC-2 and PC-3 for process control systems based on the Elbrus processor - 1C +. In particular, SCADA system was launched on PC-3, simulating the operation of a certain technological process.

Next door is the Aquamarine company with a secure laptop, also based on the Elbrus processor - 1C +. The laptop has an extended operating temperature range from -20 ° С to + 55 ° С and IP65 protection level, and two replaceable batteries. Battery life 3 hours. I will say right away that the laptop is not light - 10 kg, but company representatives assured that they already have a constructive solution to reduce the weight of the device. Other characteristics can be seen in the description on the developer's site.
At the SVD company’s stand, the KPDA.19801-01 dispatch control and control system was demonstrated, designed to collect, process, analyze, visualize and store process data in real time, which was installed on Fastwel’s CPC514 processor module based on Elbrus processor - 4C. The module is made according to the specification of Compact PCI Serial in 3U format. Using the backbone-modular architecture, you can flexibly adapt the system to your needs, installing the necessary expansion modules, from discrete I / O to high-performance boards with FPGA or GPU.

The manufacturer of industrial equipment MICROMAX proposed solutions using a single-board computer MM-CBE, which includes the Salyut processor module - EL24PM from the Elvis Scientific and Production Center and a PC / 104 format motherboard with a set of peripherals. The processor module 1892BM14YA is installed on the processor module itself. Based on the MM-CBE computer, the company introduced two industrial computers, the M-Max 640MR and the M-Max 651 MR.

Fastwel company for the first time demonstrated the industrial modular computer MK150-02 on the Baikal - T1 processor for solving average performance problems. Inside it, the CPC313 processor module and expansion cards are installed. A feature of the MK150-02 is the presence of two gigabit Ethernet ports, four RS-422/485 ports, two FBUS bus ports and much more.

Among other things, processor companies - STC ELVIS, NIIET, NIISI RAS - demonstrated desktop and debug boards.
Details of the use of the processors shown in the photo can be found on the Internet.
SPC Elvis has announced a radiation-resistant 1892VK016 chip designed to be used as a controller for a network solid-state information storage device (SSD) of terabyte capacity. The most interesting thing is that the controller has a SpaceFibre interface (optics) for exchanging data with the Host. More details can be found on the developer's website .
From high - many already known chip Angarafor high-speed interconnect between servers, computing clusters, etc., that is, it is a kind of analogue or alternative to Infiniband and RapidIO. The developer is NIITSEVT.
