How we made the site for the Mascot car award
Mascot is an automobile award in Belarus. The award site solves many problems. It is necessary to somehow familiarize yourself with the conditions of future participants in the award and give the opportunity to apply for participation. Mention all partners. Talk about nominations, methodology and introduce expert advice. And also give consumers the opportunity to vote for cars that fall into the qualifying round. At the same time, hold a prize draw among the participants of the vote so that they are not lazy to vote.
All participants in the award are car dealers. And the subject of the assessment is new cars. Therefore, the site needed to build a magazine of all cars that were sold in 2018:
With each new page load, we collect the machine magazine again so that no one would be offended by the publication without a photo. Of course, I want to see all the pictures of cars. To do this, we made a list of cars within each nomination:
One of the tasks is to talk about information partners. In order not to hide them at the end of the page, we carefully mixed them into the tape of the car magazine:
The first stage is the qualifying: online voting of consumers directly on our website. Selection of the five best cars for the second and third stages. I’ll tell you more about this later.
The second is the determination of the winner in each nomination by consumers, thanks to a closed super-vote throughout Belarus. More precisely, the research company conducted an online interview with a thousand Belarusians. The sample took into account the region, age, gender and education of the participants. Of the five finalists of the first stage, an objective winner in each nomination was determined.
The third is the determination of the winner by expert advice. All six experts lined up. One of them has already flickered in the tape of the car magazine above with a bright quote.
In total, in each nomination there will be two winners: according to the people and according to experts. Or one, if the opinions of experts and people coincide.
To attract consumers who participated in the voting of the qualifying stage, we rolled up the prize draw:
