Top 3D Expo review in April 2019

    On April 19, 2019, at the Technopolis Moscow metropolitan high-tech center, the next Top 3D Expo exhibition and conference was held , this time dedicated to the integration of additive technologies and digital production in various fields.

    The event brought together hardware and software manufacturers, technology integrators and representatives of enterprises and companies interested in modernizing their production and business processes, small businesses and ordinary users of 3D technology - makers and technologists.

    Exhibition

    The exposition presented samples of 3D printers, 3D scanners, materials and accessories, laser and milling machines, vacuum casting equipment, hardware and software for VR and AR, and other equipment.



    The companies showed their stands:Top 3D Shop , Roland , PICASO 3D , RangeVision , Imprinta , REC , PrintProduct , Optical measuring machines - GOM , HARZ Labs , Color World , Terem , Red Rock , 3D Control .









    PICASO 3D tempted everyone to switch to the dark side, which has become a tradition, as always using cookies for this.





    Print Product showed their vision for the near future of shoe production.





    Imprint showed a swing equipped with some 3D-printed parts to demonstrate the strength of these parts.



    And a punching bag hanging from a 3D-printed plastic carabiner.



    HARZ Labs brought their largest bottle of photopolymer.



    The Texel people scanner and figures printed on its scans aroused great interest.

    Our traditional master classes in 3D printing and 3D scanning were held as part of the event.





    Conference Conference

    participants, specialists from leading Russian and international companies, spoke about new equipment, technologies and their application.



    The conference was attended by representatives of many Russian and foreign companies, shared their experiences and best practices.

    Alexey Mazalov, Center for Additive Technologies, JSC



    Alexey Mazalov presented a report on 3D printing systems for industry, which are used by Center for Additive Technologies. First of all, these are SLS, SLM, vacuum casting and 3D scanning for preliminary assessment and post-verification of parts.

    Evgeni Kopylov, Top 3D Group



    Evgeni Kopylov presented a report on SLS technology, which allows printing objects that fully reveal all the possibilities of digital parametric design, and spoke about the new Polish manufacturer Sinterit - the professional Lisa Pro system.

    Ivan Golyshev, Foliplast



    Ivan Golyshev talked about the application of vacuum casting technology in flexible molds and the equipment used in it, about the vacuum casting process and how small-scale production can be automated using modern industrial equipment and how much automation increases productivity.

    Artyom Solomnikov, Imprint



    Artyom Solomnikov presented a report on the practical application of 3D printing and generative design in the manufacture of functional parts for tuning cars and demonstrated a presentation - information materials on a real case of such an application.

    Grigory Shanin, RusAT, ROSATOM



    Grigory Shanin, representing RusAT, a member of ROSATOM, made a presentation on the topic: “Additive RusAT technologies: RusMelt SLM printers and new generation metal powders.”

    Anton Sotov, Samara University



    Anton Sotov, Engineer, Department of Engine Technology, Samara University, In his speech, he spoke about the development and application of 3D printing methods by metal in the Russian aviation and space industry, as well as about ongoing research in this area.

    Nikita Voronov, Farsoon



    Nikita Voronov talked about the possibilities of industrial 3D-equipment manufactured by Farsoon and the company's open system that does not limit users of equipment in the possibilities of setting up equipment and using third-party supplies.

    Sunny Wong, Shining 3D



    Sunny Wong talked about the most interesting SHINING 3D innovations, in particular, the Shining 3D ecosystem in conjunction with SolidEdge and the capabilities of this system when working with generative design, as well as the case of using scanning to create ankle supports for hockey players, which helped prevent joint sprains.

    Dmitry Suvorov, RangeVision



    Dmitry talked about the four main tasks of 3D scanning in search of a universal solution, how to check the accuracy of a 3D scanner and 3D scanning in educational projects.

    Sergey Morgun, Optical measuring machines



    The technical director of OIM spoke about the functions and applications of ATOS 3D measuring systems: geometry control of cast and stamped products, modeling, prototyping, tracking and positioning of parts.

    Yousef Hesuani, 3D Bioprinting Solutions



    Yousef Hesuani talked about the development of bioprinting in the world, and also showed the Organ.Aut magnetic bioprinter, a copy of which is now located and working at the International Space Station, and described the principle of its operation.



    Evgeny Malakhovsky, Top 3D Group



    Evgeny Malakhovsky spoke about the latest biological 3D printer Rokit INVIVO - a multifunctional 3D printer that can print a wide range of biological materials of different consistencies, with examples and illustrations.

    Fedor Antonov, Anisoprint



    Fedor spoke about anisoprinting technology, which makes it possible to manufacture durable and lightweight parts using 3D printing with continuous reinforcing fibers, about the equipment, software and materials created for this technology, design methods and successful cases of its application.

    Sergey Arkhipov, Charly Robot



    The program of Sergey Arkhipov’s presentation: presentation of new compact solutions for processing non-ferrous metals and a story about the advantages of their use in production.

    Sunshine Yan, Intamsys



    Sunshine Yan talked about the philosophy of product development, which is to work simultaneously on the hardware and software of the product, plus print materials. This allows the company to develop unique solutions for complex tasks. Sunshine shared several cases in various industries, such as aerospace and medicine.

    Konstantin Lezhnev, Top 3D Group



    Konstantin Lezhnev talked about the differences between industrial robots and collaborative robots - cobots, as well as the benefits of using cobots in small and medium-sized enterprises.

    Mikhail Rikhirev, Terem



    Mikhail Rikhirev made a presentation on Polish-made professional 3DGence 3D printers created for printing with various engineering materials and having replaceable modules for various production tasks, from medicine to mechanical engineering.

    Andrey Starikov, QD laboratory



    Mikhail Starikov talked about how to make 3D printing cheaper and more environmentally friendly by printing with the new FPF (fused particle fabrication) technology using plastic granules instead of filament, as well as the development and creation of a 3D printer designed for such printing.

    The speeches aroused keen interest of the audience and provoked interesting questions from the audience, to which the lecturers willingly answered. The information provided contributed to an understanding of the reasons why the integration of digital and additive manufacturing technologies in industrial enterprises is inevitable.
