Of all the employees of Russian companies found to be insiders in 2015, 31% are managers. And most often - from Moscow or St. Petersburg. In second place are heads of departments who have access to information of the highest level, and in third place are IT specialists. Also, developers appeared among insiders last year. In 2015, more than half of companies faced attempts to steal corporate data by laid-off employees.
51% of Russian organizations according to Searchinform in 2015 encountered data theft from retiring employees. Most often, such cases occurred in Yekaterinburg - 67%. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, 54% of companies experienced this. In Krasnodar - only 35%.

Only 11 out of 100 companies in which the data leak occurred apologize to customers. 88% prefer to remain silent, believing that no one will suffer and the damage is not significant. 12% of companies do not know if they had leaks.
The object of protection most often becomes email. External media under control took 21% of companies. An HTTP channel is controlled by 19% of organizations. Skype consider only 8% of companies to be a dangerous channel for disseminating information.
9% follow the data sent to print. Apparently, considering that insiders can take out only printed documents.
