[Announcement] Kingston Introduces New M.2 SATA G2 Solid State Drives

Hello Giktayms! Tablets are getting thinner, desktops are getting smaller, everything is diminishing before our eyes. Many people want to throw out everything unnecessary, like bulky cases and wires. Kingston M.2 SATA G2 is a thin and compact SSD-drive without an external case. Due to its high capacity and low power consumption, it will become a reliable device for caching or installing OS and applications. M.2 SATA G2 is compatible with motherboards based on Intel 9x chipsets and computers with small form factor (SFF) - ultrabooks, laptops and tablets. Thanks to the M.2 connectors of the new generation, SSDs are very easy to install: experts and enthusiasts of PC assembly do it themselves.

M.2 SATA G2 is lighter than case SSDs, and its performance is higher due to optimized memory cleaning algorithms, wear leveling and TRIM technology support. The latter maintains the performance of the drive at the same level throughout its life. Also, M.2 SATA G2 supports the new SATA DevSleep specification, which minimizes the power consumption of the device and helps to extend battery life. The firmware protection program built into the firmware of the drive constantly writes data from the cache to the NAND-memory in order to maintain its integrity in the event of an unsafe shutdown. Companion Application(KSM), which can be downloaded from Kingston's website, monitors the warranty period and condition of the device. All M.2 SATA G2 drives are protected by KingstonĀ®'s legendary reliability and a five-year limited warranty with free technical support.
