Communication quality - Android application from the Ministry of Communications
The Ministry of Communications has released an application for Android , which allows you to create a collective map of cellular coverage for all operators and frequencies.
The card itself can be seen both in the application and on the agency’s website . The Minister of Communications on his Twitter announced the beginning of testing the application .
From myself, I want to note that the idea itself is very interesting and necessary, since with a sufficiently large number of participants, this data should be more relevant than that provided on the operators' websites.
Now the coverage map consists mainly of roads - it seems that people use the application only in the car. My testing shows that the information appears with a delay of about an hour and at first on a maximum scale. If you do not see your data, then you can also try switching the type of network (2G – 4G, 2G, 3G, 4G).
