    CES is an unchanged meeting place for representatives of consumer technologies.     1. WeDo 2.0 Platform


    LEGO company at CES 2016 introduced a new version of the WeDo kit , which allows together with children to develop skills in the field of robotics, engineering and programming.

    The WeDo 2.0 suite consists of many Lego parts, and uses the drag and drop principle to program basic applications. The kit also includes a Bluetooth device for communication with the motor and motion sensors.

    LEGO also provides a training program that includes 16 projects with over 40 hours of content.
     

     


     

    2. Ziro Modules


    ZeroUI Inc. has developed a set of four motorized modules that are controlled by a wireless glove. With it, the user gets the opportunity to control the direction of movement and the actions of home-made robots.

    Ziro modules can be used to wirelessly control robots made of cardboard, wood or metal. The project will be financed through Indiegogo crowdfunding resource . The price of such a set will be $ 199.
     

     


     

    3. The Segway Robot


    You can use the Segway robot as a normal scooter or in butler mode. After activation, a cane with a camera mounted on it is pulled out from its base to control the environment.

    Such a robot will always know if someone is standing at your door and will immediately let guests in. It has a built-in voice and face recognition function, the robot can wave its hands and copy various facial expressions. Such a butler will work on an Android platform using Intel RealSense technology. It is expected in the second half of 2016.
     

     


     

    4. LG HOM-BOT


    LG's HOM-BOT Turbo + Robot Vacuum Cleaner runs for 40 minutes, uses augmented reality and Home-Joy technologies. The new control system allows the user to configure it using any smartphone camera.

    The HOM-BOT Turbo + is equipped with Triple Eye sensors, allowing it to accurately determine the places that it has already cleaned and those that need additional cleaning. The camera located in front of the device provides the user with another “security” function - Home-Guard. When the robot moves, it transfers pictures of the room to the smartphone.
     

     


     

    5. IBM Watson & Pepper


    At CES 2016, IBM Watson and Pepper announced a partnership. Watson's cognitive computing technology will enable Pepper to develop knowledge and improve understanding of the world and people through sensation, training and experience.

    It will also be equipped with Watson software , which will enable users to configure the robot themselves.

    A SoftBank spokesman said the company has not yet set an exact release date for the Pepper robot based on Watson technology. However, IBM says that the first robots will be tested in retail stores and may replace consultants over time.
     

     


     

    6. CellRobot


    You can set up CellRobot using the 100 separate bots connected to it. The "heart" of CellRobot gives a signal, feeds the remaining modules and provides a connection to your smartphone or tablet, which is used to control the robot. The base is equipped with a charging port, 6 speakers, indicators, connectors with other modules and a small screen.

    It also has a Bluetooth 4.0 transmitter for connecting to your phone and Wi-Fi and Zigbee technology for interfacing with other robot modules. A 2200 mAh lithium battery will be able to work with 4 modules for 30 minutes, and with 1 module - up to 5 hours.
     

     


     

    7. Patin


    Patin is a small robot on wheels designed to become your little butler. You can also connect various devices and objects to it, depending on your needs, including an air purifier, a lamp, a fan, a coffee machine, or even a flower pot. Using artificial intelligence, the robot will inextricably follow you around the house.
