Firefox 46 will support multiple monitors with different pixel densities

On January 13, 2016, bug 890156 was closed, and changes to the code were made to the main development branch. This means that Firefox 46 will support multiple monitors with different pixel densities. The release of Firefox 46 is scheduled for April 2016 , but you can try the nightly build now .

Thanks to these changes, the browser window will no longer be bitmapped when moving to a monitor with a different pixel density, and the browser interface and web page elements will remain clear and of a suitable size. This is made possible by using Per-Monitor DPI Awareness technology , first introduced in Windows 8.1.and received improvements in Windows 10. In Windows 10, you can choose the size of applications and fonts separately for each monitor, depending on its pixel density - the ratio of the pixel size to their number. Now Firefox 46 korretno takes into account these settings.

In the summer of 2015, simultaneously with the release of Windows 10 , Microsoft Edge browser was released - the first browser with support for this technology. Firefox 46 will be the second such browser, while Google Chrome is lagging behind.
