3D milling cutter? No, 3D printer. Epilogue

In a previous article, I described an option for manufacturing an enclosure for electronics installed on a 3D milling machine with CNC by the milling method. The case was cut out of two-layer ABS plastic designed for mechanical engraving.

Now, from the same STL files, we will make another case, but on a 3D printer. In the video, I printed the details on the MC3 3D printer - stealth .

    This is what

    happened : Fig . 1

I did not like it. And so I redrawn these files.

The case is very easy to assemble on latches. It is additionally fastened by a fan. In assembly, it looks like in Fig. 2.

On the rear panel of the 3D router, holes are provided for attaching the housing. In figure 3 they are marked with red arrows.

This is an assembly view and a fixed housing. With optional cooling fan.

In conclusion, I want to say that the case made on the router and on the 3D printer are no different. Is that in the speed of manufacture. On the milling cutter, this is an order of magnitude faster.

You can download the STL files for the case here. (korpus_all.zip for the router, a new file 9_10.zip for the printer, or vice versa).
