AMBS plans to build the tallest building in the world to fully meet its energy needs

Welcome to the iCover Blog Pages ! Construction company AMBS has announced plans to build a building that will beat the current height record, owned by the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and will be higher than the Kingdom Tower being built today in Saudi Arabia. The Bride Tower - this will be the name of a grandiose structure designed in such a way that it will be able to fully meet the needs of its infrastructure for electricity.

If the plans of architects and builders of AMBS are destined to come true, the 1152-meter The Bride Tower will become the tallest building in the world and will surpass the current leader in this indicator - the Burj Khalifa Tower in Dubai, 828 meters high. and so far being implemented since March 2013 in Jeda (Saudi Arabia)Kingdom Tower , 1007 meters high. Construction, the start date of which has not yet been announced, is planned to be deployed in the business district of Bride of the Gulf in Basra, Iraq’s largest port city. The name of the tower “The Bride” is consonant with the name of the district. The successful completion of the construction of the tower, according to representatives of the Basra municipality and AMBS management, will be a powerful incentive for the economic development of the city and the adjacent part of the region.

According to the plan of engineers and architects, AMBS The Bride will be a magnificent architectural complex of 4 interconnected towers of different heights. The highest of them, 964 m high, located on the southern sunny side of the complex will be crowned with an 188-meter antenna. As if with a “veil”, it would cover and protect the constructions of adjacent buildings and open areas located below from the incinerating sun rays, creating a temperature in the region of Iraq in the shade of up to 50 degrees Celsius. The three smaller Bride towers will rise above the ground at 724, 484 and 61 meters respectively.

One of the features of The Bride complex is its complete energy independence, which, as promised by AMBS engineers, will be possible thanks to the many solar panels installed on the south side of the central tower.

It will be the world's first “vertical city” with a living area of 1,550,908 square meters. The above-ground, ground and underground infrastructure, consisting of many residential apartments, offices, hotels, shopping malls, gardens and parks, will allow people to live and work in fairly comfortable conditions without experiencing the daily need to leave the complex. And strolling through a shaded park located at ground level, at lunchtime you can travel to shops located hundreds of meters above sea level. And everyone who wants to be able to get into The Bride Tower will be completely free, and not just those who live and work in it ... ”- representatives of the company describe a promising project.

The company AMBSHaving taken on the mission of designing and constructing the tallest building in the world, it has offices in London and Baghdad and is known for its series of large-scale international projects, including the new Iraqi public library , built in 1970. This gives us hope that the already developed The Bride project will come true in a more or less visible future, although much of what AMBS officials are talking about even with the capabilities of modern technology is still more like a fairy tale.
