On the selection of a candy bar for 70-100 thousand rubles
I was asked to choose a working computer that takes up little space on the table, powerful enough to work comfortably, and so that it does not quickly become outdated. The cost of 70-100 thousand rubles.
It was decided to see monoblocks. Their advantages are obvious. And the downsides are that it is difficult to upgrade and repair, and that the performance on a ruble is more expensive.
I could not find a normal way to select a candy bar (usually, I do preliminary filtering through Yandex.Market, and then study reviews, etc., but with candy bars it doesn’t work out that way). Therefore, I had to turn to various forums like w3bsit3-dns.com , ixbt , cyberforumand many others. I spent a lot of time studying the market and reducing the choice to a limited number of decent options. And it seemed to me useful to provide dear readers of Geektimes a squeeze and a list of options with comments.
I set the following requirements for the computer:
Who cares what was eventually selected, welcome to cat.
As mentioned above, all of the monoblocks listed below have 4th generation processors released back in 2013. This is probably the reason in the monoblock development cycle. To correctly read the names of Intel processors, there is a memo .
Further analysis will go by brand. For each specific model, I will try to provide a link to a Russian-language and English-language review. Unfortunately, due to the wide variety of specifications of each model, I can’t give a link to a review of the exactness of such hardware (it will differ fundamentally with the amount of memory, the type of hard drive, etc.). But the overall picture from the review is still visible.
When buying a specific candy bar, it is very important to pay attention to the last piece of the name (for example, 040-RU for MSI or J7D65EA for HP) - this is a modification code, and it contains, for example, the presence of an SSD or 8GB of memory, etc.

The first on the list is the now fashionable iMac.
About iMac they write that this is an excellent IPS screen, a silent cooling system, a full-fledged (not mobile) processor. For myself, I do not consider it, because no plans to switch to MacOS. Among the minuses, I see a weak and sometimes old hardware: Core i5 and the lack of SSD in the available models (although the craftsmen manage to mix the SSD in the iMac).
Among the 2015 models, 27 inches + SSD starts at 140 thousand. Just 27 inches from 120 thousand. So in the case of iMac, you need to stop at 21 inches and no SSD.
2015 models:
As indicated in the comments, even on the middle and old iMac it is possible to update the processor and increase memory, as well as grow the hard drive, which will bring it to a good level.

I must say right away, of the monoblocks, I personally liked the series of monoblocks from MSI most of all. They are positioned as gaming, and the presence of a discrete video card that is useless for these tasks must be accepted as an inevitable evil (or vice versa, good, it’s not all the time to work).
I have identified two models.
There is a comparison of the selected models on the official website.

At this company, I allocated a 23-inch Dell Inspiron One 2350 -7207 from 90 thousand rubles ( market )
A distinctive feature is the touch screen (sort of like IPS). He also has more RAM, but less SSD. And the mobile Core i7, which, as discussed above, is a minus. Model of the first half of 2014.
Overview in Russian (ferra), in English (PCmag).

An aging, 23-inch Lenovo ThinkCentre M93z 10AE001RRU with a price tag of 75 thousand or more ( market ).
This is the 2013 model. It has less RAM, and worse with the HDD: 500 GB HDD + 8 GB SSD. But a full-fledged desktop Core i7. I included it in the review, only for the reason that it is still often advised on the forums. Plus, I have a personal affection for Lenovo.
Overview in English (tom's guide).
In the HP ProOne series, I liked two models. In general, the entire series is aimed specifically at the organization of the workplace, as opposed to the gaming models MSI and Dell, which is attractive.
As is customary in such reviews, in the end I will say that from this list everyone can choose something for themselves, and that it does not make sense to impose a specific model, because each has its own requests.
If you have a monoblock model that satisfies the specified parameters, then do not hesitate to tell about it in the comments. And if some of my judgments were inaccurate or completely incorrect, then all the more I look forward to your opinion!

I set the following requirements for the computer:
- Relatively top-end and relatively new Intel Core i7 processor (requirement of who will use it). At your own risk, added to the requirements of AMD A10 or AMD FX. 4 honest cores and more.
Although, with regard to Core i7 or not Core i7, it is important to remember that:- Mobile i7 (which is sometimes put in a candy bar) can be less powerful than the usual (desktop) Core i5 ( one , two , three , four ).
So we must be very careful about the names of processors, and the requirement “i7 and not a step back” can be considered not very mandatory.
Looking ahead, I’ll say that I could not find a decent candy bar with AMD processors. Likewise, it was not possible to find an affordable candy bar with Intel processors of a generation above the 4th. All monoblocks presented will come with the 4th generation (Haswell). - Combination of SSD (for speed) + HDD (for volume); the extreme case is a very small SSD for disk caching.
- The presence of WiFi and USB 3.0 (in a couple of years, the transfer speed of USB 2.0 will catch up with hellish longing).
- IPS monitor.
- Compact placement (in our case, monoblock solves this problem).
- Since games and a heavy score on video cards are not planned, ideally the video card is built into the processor (i.e., you can save on a separate video card, which will reduce power consumption and noise).
- The memory is possible 8GB, but not less than 4GB.

2015 models:
- MK142RU / A (the screen is not retina, the weakest processor and video card from the iMac models of 2015): market (of. Price 90000 rubles)

As indicated in the comments, even on the middle and old iMac it is possible to update the processor and increase memory, as well as grow the hard drive, which will bring it to a good level.

Dell

At this company, I allocated a 23-inch Dell Inspiron One 2350 -7207 from 90 thousand rubles ( market )

Lenovo

An aging, 23-inch Lenovo ThinkCentre M93z 10AE001RRU with a price tag of 75 thousand or more ( market ).
23 LED "/ 1920x1080 / Intel Core i7 4770S / 3100 MHz / Intel HD Graphics / 4096 Mb / 500 + 8 Gb / DVDRW

HP
In the HP ProOne series, I liked two models. In general, the entire series is aimed specifically at the organization of the workplace, as opposed to the gaming models MSI and Dell, which is attractive.
- 23-inch HP ProOne 400 G1 All-in-One J4A92ES from 68 thousand ( market ).

The reviews write that IPS , and the official page is silent about this. Desktop Core i7. Unfortunately, there is no SSD, so this model was included in the review for completeness, lack of a discrete graphics card, and because of the price.
The review is unpretentious in Russian (landdriver), in English . - 21.5-inch HP ProOne 600 G1 All-in-One J7D65EA from 92 thousand ( market )
HP ProOne 600-in-the All the One 21.5 "(1920x1080) WLED the IPS, Core i7- 4790S , 8GB DDR 3-1600 (1x8GB), the HDD 1TB 7200 SATA, DVD ± RW, Radeon HD 7650A 2GB
In this model, which is also advised on the forums, there is a significant special - this is the diagonal of the screen. Still, 21.5 may not be enough for someone who has a large workplace, and at the same time for people who have limited work, this may seem like a super-solution. There is no SSD in this model, but unlike other monoblocks, this one has an mSATA slot, where you can add a separate SSD. Desktop Core i7.
