Briton sells cubes containing 62 chemical elements
An unusual crowdsourcing project takes place on the Kickstarter resource: the author offers participants to purchase a cube from an alloy containing more than 60 different chemical elements. In addition to the cube used as a paperweight, options are available in the form of a bracelet and pendant.
The cube contains 62 elements and is made by powder metallurgy . All components were converted into a powdery substance, and then pressed into neat cubes, after which the forms are fixed by sintering.
Designed and organized the project, Cillian McMinn, a young entrepreneur from the UK who has long been interested in technology and science. From his point of view, such a cube can be either an original gift or a valuable acquisition for all geeks who wanted to collect a collection of elements of the periodic table, as well as an excellent occasion to start a conversation.
The author of the project claims that such an “alloy” will set a record for the number of elements included in it.

Cube is offered in two versions - slightly polished and carefully polished. The bracelet and pendant can be purchased for £ 20, and the cube for £ 50. For a collection of three items you have to pay £ 90. The author of the project promises to have time to make and send all the awards before the end of the year. The project has already raised 15 times the requested £ 2,500.
