$ 700 for a 13.3 "e-ink tablet - a lot or a little?

    6 inches for the reader is not enough, I have a bigger phone. 10 inches is already better, but still not perfect. Michael Kozlovsky, editor of GoodEReader , heeded the requests of users and now collects money on Indiegogo to order the first batch of 13.3-inch Android-tablets on E-ink.

    But here's an important question: $ 699 for a 13.3-inch reader is expensive or just right, considering that a 13.3-inch tablet with a QHD display is cheaper.

    The tablet from Good e-Reader received a 13.3-inch E ink Mobius screen with a high resolution of 1600x1200 pixels, and a stylus that defines 1024 degrees of depression. The gadget is filled with an iMX 6 Sololite processor, 512 megabytes of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory with the ability to expand with microSD up to 32 GB. 1270 mAh batteries should last for 4 weeks. The gadget weighs only 350 grams.

    The device runs on Android 4.0.4. Developers are pushing that the user will be able to select any reader or install one of many other applications from Google Play. There is no 3G and 4G in the tablet, but there is Wi-Fi.

    The goal of the Indiegogo campaign is to raise 42 thousand dollars to order the first batch of E-ink tablets at the factory.

    At the time of writing, the backers paid $ 5,900 - 14% of the required amount. There are two months left until the end of the campaign.
