    PROGRAM OF EVENTS:

The truth and the myths about marketing in games
Sergey Zykov , Director of Marketing Armor5Games, teacher discipline " Games Marketing " in VSHBI.

It's no secret - marketers in gaming companies do not like. The developers do not like it - all the time it seems to them that marketing interferes with making a “game of the century”, but requires doing it “like everyone else”. Players do not like it - it is our fault, as they believe, that the games come out “raw”, unfinished. And Steam Early Access can not forgive us so far. And he does not like the management of companies - because we always ask for money for marketing. And most often - we beg for it.

But all this is nothing more than myths. In fact - we (marketers) simply want everyone - both developers, players, and even management (especially management!) To be happy.

And today we will dispel some of the myths about our work.

Case study for the creation of an indie game development studio from scratch
Ilya Boytsov, founder and director of EM ALL Studio, a graduate of the Game Project Management program

    • How we put together a team.
    • Where did we get the money and how did we refuse the “wrong” money.
    • How we chose our niche and made a game with half a million installations.
    • What problems did we encounter when developing our seven games and how to solve them.
