Google Play and 2K installations per day without cash investments (+ statistics and income)
Hello! I decided to share with you the experience of “free PR” on Google Play, namely, ways to achieve 2K installations per day without cash investments. All statistics are attached + income information
Immediately make a reservation, these are my personal observations and assumptions, all statistics are collected from my applications. I did not really understand the intricacies of the GP, so I may not be right.
The statistics specified in the article were collected from a new application that has been living since May 24, 2017
It is worth mentioning that ASO optimization plays a significant role, so initially come up with potentially effective names and descriptions for your applications.

To begin with, the first couple of weeks the number of application installations is usually 10-50 per day, and as practice shows, this is normal. After 1/2/3 weeks of such a dull move, installations begin to grow. For example, in my first application, after stagnating for a couple of weeks, the number of installations per day was about 500 - 1000.
To achieve more than 2K downloads on the GP, I took the steps described below:
1. Please rate the application
. I read somewhere that the ratings in GP do not affect the growth of application installs, but to hell with it, we will rely on psychology. With a higher probability, the user will install the application that has the most ratings, and most importantly, positive ones.
I believe that the player needs to be reminded to give a rating, and even give some kind of bonus for it, which will serve as an even greater incentive for a good rating. It is important to present the bonus not as a reward for a good mark, but as an “apology” for interrupted gameplay. Somewhere I heard that in the GP you can’t urge a player to give a good mark for a reward, maybe I'm wrong. An article about a request to rate the

2. The game must have content for sales
Traffic Sources tab → Reports by traffic sources
The higher the conversion of the application, the more downloads Google will provide. This is logical, because Google is not profitable to keep non-revenue-generating applications in the top.
Example: conversion rate metrics
3. Follow optimization tips
Traffic Sources tab → Optimization Tips
Follow optimization tips, this will help adapt the application to users from other countries.

4. Run experiments.
Maybe this is a coincidence, or maybe a working tactic that needs to be followed, but the fact remains, as soon as the game starts to gain at least some speed, you need to run A / B testing with 1 - 2 or more options. Apparently, Google gives odds to applications with A / B testing, and this is in our hands.
Upon the appearance of the first test results, one of the group members threw me a screen on which the application was on the front page in the section "Fresh Releases - Recommended". Coincidence? I don’t think so.
