Do you have any ideas? We have a Tabtabus! How was the third IT-festival in nature
What digital work strategies are effective? Why use personalization in online advertising? How to act in the new circumstances to keep your business afloat and continue the development of the company? The answers to these and other questions were received by the participants of the Tabtabus Summer Fest festival, which was held in the Smolensk region on June 18-19.
By tradition, the summer open-air of IT specialists was stationed in the Smolensk Lake District national park. Here guests and participants of the festival were able to get a boost of vivacity and new ideas, relax in nature with tents, cook the most delicious fish soup, share experience and hear practical advice from experts from various IT areas.
Forest TED and round tables: what was the focus of attention?
The business part of the festival was held in the style of "Forest TED". Speakers from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Minsk communicated directly with the audience without presentations and folders with prepared texts. The focus was on issues that will be relevant in the IT sphere: what technologies in the environment are already changing the world and how people are changing under their influence.
The first presentation by the expert, business consultant and development director of the RUWARD project group, Alexei Ezhikov, was dedicated to the evolution of media, Internet things, virtual reality and the impact of media on society.
The main trends in the IT sphere, according to Alexei, are deep learning and deep learning neural networks, which are now represented everywhere:
Deep learning neural networks learned to recognize faces in pictures, they beat a person in th, they will soon control traffic in cities and cars on the streets. Another, yet not very noticeable trend is biotechnology. Of course, when we are all young and healthy, this does not worry us too much, but after 15 years we will see how far biotechnologies have stepped forward and how our medicine has improved.
Regarding Tabtabus, Aleksei made a prediction that perhaps in 5 years there will be “virtual” visitors at the festival who will be able to discuss current issues in the IT field along with other participants who have arrived on buses, bicycles and cars.

Andrey Mayboroda, sales organization expert, director of Green Bussiness (St. Petersburg) talked about how to build effective sales with a human face for IT companies. In his opinion, the future lies in the maximum rejection of all kinds of manipulative techniques. When selling IT products, it is important to help the customer solve his problem. To do this, you need to immerse yourself in the client’s business, find out the maximum about sales, the offered product or service — that is, at the initial stage ask at least 20-25 questions about what the client is doing (ideally there should be about 50!). He also mentioned the importance of social networks:
This is a great tool for sales, it simplifies our lives: it becomes easier to find a person, to enter into direct contact with him, into direct dialogue - and this is the beginning of sales.
Andrey Konovalov , Director of Information Projects at Ruward, Cossa’s Operations Director, told the audience that personalization is one of the main trends of the future in IT, thanks to which Internet advertising is becoming targeted to the audience. Hence the need to work with web analytics to understand whether the chosen strategy is effective and to adjust it in a timely manner.
Also, modern IT companies need to show "flexibility" in service and be competent in their field in order to find specific solutions for the business, without leaving customers at the crossroads of a choice.

Anna Moiseeva- IIDF expert, consultant for start-ups at an early stage of development (Moscow) noted that at the present time, when starting a startup, it is important to use custom development, study the client, and also draw conclusions from the information received. Of the technologies that actively influence life, Anna noted uber services and instant messengers:
Everything related to communication and information exchange is all kinds of instant messengers, as well as all technologies that are related to speed: data transfer speed, client-provider connection speed, the so-called “Uberization” - quick connection of a service provider to a client, for example, this food delivery services, taxi. I think this approach will spread in other areas.
Entrepreneur Andrei Sharkov , author and host of the Take and Do podcast (St. Petersburg), discussed with the audience what kind of IT a modern business needs. The main points to which he drew attention: the need to separate the concepts of “business” and “hobby” for himself, to be able to correctly prioritize and focus on the ultimate goal. At the same time, do not refer to the crisis as the main reason for economic failures and failure to achieve the goal, and in the changed situation, adjust the work model in time - make the final product or service better, produce different products or provide more services for the same money.
After the speeches of the speakers, the participants of the festival divided by interests and discussed current trends in IT at round tables with moderators and industry experts from 20 companies from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Smolensk and Minsk. The main topics for communication were marketing, design, programming, start-up and project management.

Office sports and outdoor recreation
Traditionally, the festival was held in a format that allows you to combine business with pleasure. After the business program, everyone wished to talk and exchange contacts with speakers and experts, watched the first photo camera made up of Tabtabus avatars, and took part in office sports. This year, thanks to good weather, the competition included mattress racing, water volleyball, as well as archery and tug of war.

Fish soup was prepared for all the participants of the festival, boat trips were organized and a Canape bar was opened, where you could buy invigorating drinks for the “game currency” called “taboos” won in competitions and round tables.
Each of the vacationers was able to register on the IT-tree, which sprouted to the right of the stage, drawing the logo of his company or leaving a message to posterity.

Keeping the tradition of Tabtabus past, when IT people from different companies jointly depicted the @ symbol - known as the “dog”, the festival guests again held a cheerful flash mob - this time the @ sign was created on the water. To do this, the participants of the flash mob armed with rubber rings. What happened - look at the photo.

The evening was completed by a music program from IT groups from Smolensk and St. Petersburg. At the festival venue were musicians "7.5 floor", "Next Shot", "Jack London Band." The evening ended with bonfire gatherings with acoustic guitars led by the Partybard team.
And then the morning of the second day came ...
The next day, all IT people were waiting for sports and dance exercises from fitness trainer Anastasia Zakharevich. Encouraged, Tabtabus participants went to the “Business Breakfast” with Andrey Sharkov, where the author and host of the “Take and Do” podcast answered the participants' questions, conducted an interactive discussion and talked about how to choose marketing strategies for the business based on the needs of the target audience.

At the end of the summer open-air of IT people, the Tabtabus flag was omitted. Then, the participants and speakers thanked the organizers for the event, because the festival served as an excellent occasion for various companies working in the field of information technology to get out into nature, discuss current IT issues, have fun, relax and socialize in an informal atmosphere.
