Web Ready Contest Turns Into GoTech Business Integrator

    Web Ready, the largest independent technology company competition in Eastern Europe, has not only changed its name, but also substantially corrected its concept. GoTech has evolved from a traditional competition into an integrator of the best technology companies into business strategic partners. Applications were opened on March 15, and the first results will be announced on October 6, 2016, when the GoToMarket forum will be held as part of GoTech.



    In essence, GoTech will not only collect applications and evaluate technological small and medium-sized businesses, but also “pack” it for the needs of strategic partners, as well as track projects of interest to strategists. Participants will receive additional financing opportunities and access to corporate resources, while strategic partners will receive technology projects prepared for implementation.

    The first GoTech partner was EMC Corporation, which announced the collection of applications from companies developing projects in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data & Analytics or creating technologies for a smart city (Smart City Tech). In addition to a cash prize, the winner of the nomination will have the opportunity to launch a joint project with EMC go-to-market.

    Together with Kaspersky Lab, a special Next Generation Security nomination has been announced . Technology companies and projects that create products to protect against current or future cyber threats are invited to participate. Companies that develop technological projects in the field of IT and related fields are invited

    to participate in the competition .

    GoTech’s Supervisory Board includes Dmitry Chikhachev (Runa Capital), Alexander Egorov (Reksoft), Konstantin Sinyushin (the Untitled VC), Vyacheslav Nesterov (EMC), Igor Kaloshin (Intel), Igor Bogachev (Skolkovo Foundation).
