Current location:
Moscow
Current place of work:
AdWatch Isobar advertising agency, Deputy General Director.
I’m doing all kinds of things about strategy and products.
One word that best describes how you work:
Intensity. Adequate Russian word did not work out.
How many hours a day do you work?
Almost always, when I do not sleep, but I sleep little.
Current mobile device:
iPhone 5s
Current computer:
Macbook Pro 15 ", 2013
What applications, programs, utilities can you live without?
Mail, Notes, TextEdit, Messages, Safari and Adobe Illustrator.
Which life hack helps you save time?
Remove all notifications on a small screen (phone), and work calmly on the big one.
Which to-do manager do you use?
Standard Notes from MacOS / iOS. I have long given up on minute-by-minute planning, zeroinbox and sophisticated trackers such as Omnifocus; it is much more convenient to work with a weekly scope. This gives some freedom in terms of the order of eating working toads, you can afford to choose. Plus, I like to cross out the tasks done, and see how much I managed in a week - and in Notes you can cross out and gray out anything with just font settings. In short, I am completely satisfied.
What do you listen to when you work?
Increasingly, just the silence behind the noise reduction of the headphones. The rest is for the mood.
What are you reading now?
“Organizational thinking” by Shchedrovitsky, “World War II” by Churchill, “Missiles and people” by Chertok and “From the Third World - into the First” by Lee Kwan Yu. It’s boring to read one book, it’s much more interesting to switch.
Which book of the last read was the most memorable?
Sometime every 2-3 years I re-read TRIZ - a great book. That's a month ago, sorry for the rough writing.
Do you use electronic readers or prefer paper books?
Mostly read from a phone or computer. Plus, a fair amount of what is read is made up of articles that I suck in snatches through the reading list. Once a week - a revision of the sheet, an attempt to read everything you need, and removing the irrelevant. In general, I think the reader view + reading list is one of Apple's ingenious notions, it is extremely convenient to use.
How much time do you sleep?
3-4 hours on weekdays, around 6 on weekends
Are you an owl or an early bird?
Mathematically, an owl is the lower limit of a lark, so I can’t say for sure. Rather, a lark.
How do you have breakfast?
4-5 cups of espresso
How do you spend time on the way to work / from work?
Behind the wheel. Ride in a jump for about 15 minutes, so basically I listen to BFM - it helps me to navigate what is happening and not to get an autistic illness.
What advice have you ever been given you can pass on to others?
"Learn to separate the main from the important." Honestly, I still have not learned, but it is clear that someday I will have to do it.
